Every year, the Center for Systematic Entomology organizes its Annual Conference, held both in-person (in Gainesville) and via Zoom. The presentations are diverse, covering a wide range of arthropod taxa and research topics.

The 2026 Annual Conference has just been announced for January 17, 2026.

2026 Center for Systematic Entomology Annual Conference

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. ET

Location: Doyle Conner Building, Gainesville, FL

We’re excited to host this year’s CSE Annual Conference at the home of the Florida State Collection of Arthropods (FSCA) — a new venue that offers attendees the chance to visit the collection during the event!

Call for Presentations & Posters

We invite submissions for 15-minute presentations (including questions) and posters on topics such as:

Travel logs and publications
Ongoing or upcoming projects
Morphological discussions and taxonomic work on insects and other arthropods

Attendance Options

Join us in person or virtually (Zoom link available upon request). The event is free, and lunch will be provided for in-person participants.
