Abstract
We present three new country records for sweat bees (Hymenoptera: Halictidae: Halictini) for Guatemala: Agapostemon atrocaeruleus (Friese, 1917), Lasioglossum exiguum (Smith, 1879), and L. obnubilum (Sandhouse, 1924). The records of A. atrocaeruleus and L. exiguum contribute to filling the knowledge gap of the known distribution in Mexico and Central America. The new L. obnubilum record expands the known distribution of the species further south, making it the southernmost presently known record. Additionally, we expand the known distribution within Guatemala for four Lasioglossum (Dialictus) Robertson, 1902 species. These records contribute to the knowledge of native bees of Guatemala and Central America and highlight the importance of collections and record digitization.
