A new species of Cymatodera Gray (Coleoptera: Cleridae) from the Southwestern United States and northern Mexico

Abstract

Cymatodera orwelli new species (Coleoptera: Cleridae) is described from Arizona and New Mexico, USA and Sinaloa, Mexico. It appears to belong to a group of mostly Mexican congeners that are moderately elongate, have elongate, sexually dimorphic terminal antennomeres, and simple pygidia.
