Abstract

Anisobas Wesmael (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae: Ichneumoninae: Ichneumonini) is a moderately diverse parasitoid wasp genus present in the Holarctic and Indo-Malaysian regions. Here, we advance taxonomic knowledge of western Nearctic Anisobas by documenting new rearing and distribution records for Anisobas coloradensis (Cresson) and describe Anisobas irwini Claridge, new species, from central Arizona. There are now seven known Nearctic Anisobas species.
